The Littlestown Veterinary Hospital is housed in a barn that is over 100 years old. The property was purchased by Willis and Denise Myers, and went through tremendous remodeling, installation of insulation, new siding, and large windows, and functioned as their pottery workshop and sales facility for about 10 years. The building was purchased by veterinarians Julie Holland and Gary Kubala in May, 2008. Further remodeling was necessary to separate exam rooms, a waiting room, laboratory, radiology, animal housing areas, surgery and a large treatment room. The goal was to keep the old beams exposed and maintain the antique flavor of the building while ensuring efficient flow of patient and client traffic. As you can see, we have a lovely old building with a new purpose!
Several tenants occupy the lower levels of the barn, including Firestone Grooming, owned and operated by Roxy Firestone, and the Gates of Praise Worship Center, led by Pastor Sam Garrett.
